
Hedstart was developed by sport-scientists from a leading sports nutrition company. Some of the major effects of alcohol consumption are dehydration and low blood sugar. Science in Sport found that their re-hydrating carbohydrate/electrolyte drink was being used to help recover from excessive alcohol consumption. This really came to light when a leading Mountain bike magazine finished its product review with the line "...industry leader as hangover cure during trade shows"
